2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS55 AMG IWC Ingenieur – SOLD

Please email info@redtoggle.com if you are interested in buying the car or have any questions.

2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS55 AMG odometer: 35300 VIN: WDDDJ76XX6A059626

We are selling our beautiful 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS55 AMG. This particular car is one of the rare IWC Ingenieur versions, there were only 55 of these made. Some of the IWC features include dark titanium grey metallic paint, Designo interior (nappa leather seats, leather dash, Alcantara headliner) and quite a few others.

The car only has around 35,300 miles on it and is in excellent condition. It is a pure joy to drive and own but with our current financial situation it doesn’t make sense for us to keep this car so it is time for the next lucky owner to take over and enjoy it more than we can!

We purchased this as a Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes a year and a half ago from the Mercedes-Benz dealer in Henderson, Nevada. The warranty that came with the car from MB expired in April of 2012 but it is eligible for an extended warranty if you want to purchase one of those.  I quoted a few out for the car and they seemed to be reasonably priced.

We’ve only driven the car about 10,000 miles since we’ve had it; it’s a great car to drive and we love driving it but not the most practical car for us as a daily driver because it stresses my wife out to have to park it anywhere that it can get door dinged, etc.

Some of the CLS55 AMG Features:
5.4 liter Supercharged V8 with 469 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque
5 speed automanual transmission with automatic overdrive
Keyless Go
Parktronic
Lighting Package
Power Trunk
Drive dynamic, massage, heated and ventilated active front seats
Heated rear seats
Rear sunshade
Alcantara headliner
Rear Climate Control

Unfortunately, the watch didn’t make it to me so it’s not included with the car.

There are a few small imperfections with this car:

There is a small (less than half an inch) scratch on the front passenger fender.

There is a small dent above the “V8 Kompressor” emblem on the driver side front quarter panel. I believe this to be door ding that was gifted to us by some anonymous vehicle, I tried to get some pictures of this and you should be able to see it in the photos below.

I just noticed a small paint chip by the drivers door handle.

The wheels have some regular nicks and marks that you’d expect to see, nothing that I’d call major.

The tires are getting close to needing to be replaced but there is still a usable amount of tread-life left, I’m estimating 3,000 miles or so.

There is a little plastic cosmetic piece that goes inside the bottom of one of the cup holders that was missing when we purchased the car.

I noticed after we first purchased the car there is sometimes a rattle when going over bumps, etc. from what seems to be inside the front doors. I did a search online and others have seen this problem too with the CLS but I never investigated to see what it was since it’s not really something we notice with the stereo and AC on.

There is another small scratch on the right rear fender below the fuel fill door that I noticed that was touched up when we purchased the car.

The driver’s seat bolster has some signs of wear on it from buttons on my wife’s jeans or something like that. There is a photo that shows this.

I’m being overly picky but I just want to disclose all I know about the car so you know what you are getting, I’d call it about as good as it gets minus these small imperfections. I’ve tried to show these blemishes in some the photos below.

I’m asking $31,900 for the car, I’m taking all offers but will probably just keep the car before accepting anything too far from the asking price. You can email me at info@redtoggle.com if you are interested or have any questions.

        1. Howdy, we sold the car in 2014 and unfortunately we never had the watch, I’m guessing the original owner kept that. Thanks for your interest!

          1. Interesting that you still get inquiries into this car. I actually bought it in August, 2014 from the car broker you sold it to in OKC. I still have it and absolutely love it. Found the watch from a guy in PA so now it is a complete set! Car still only has 41k miles.

          2. Hey Mike! That’s awesome that you found the watch, we certainly miss that car but I’m glad it is treating you well. It is funny that people still inquire about the car, I could remove the post I guess but I figured I’d leave it out there for people searching for photos of one of these. There have been a few times I thought I’d seen the car around up here (NW OKC/South Edmond) but probably just another similar one. Enjoy!
